The Inclusive Global Histories exhibition is part of our wider commitment to decolonising our museums and collections.
The Inclusive Global Histories project involves understanding the ways in which colonialism is rooted in our collection and working to address racism and exclusionary practices. This approach is not limited to the exhibition but extends across our collections and sites.
Across the Ulster Museum, we are actively adding new labels which consider our history, nature, and art galleries through an inclusive global lens. We aim to be open and collaborative with our object interpretations, to include multiple perspectives and encourage dialogue.
