Join curator Charlotte McReynolds for a special guided tour of Ashes to Fashion at the Ulster Museum.

In 1976, a devastating fire destroyed much of the museum’s costume and textile collection. This behind-the-scenes tour explores how the collection rose from the ashes to become an extraordinary record of fashion, design and social history.

Discover the stories behind some of the exhibition’s most important textiles and designer garments, learn how Ashes to Fashion was brought to life, and hear how the Ulster Museum continues to collect and celebrate historic and contemporary fashion today.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the exhibition through the eyes of its curator and discover how the Ulster Museum’s collection literally went from ashes to fashion.

This tour is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
