live art in action
Book Your Free SpaceCome along to an interactive workshop followed by a live performance on Friday 28th March.
Workshop (11:00 to 12:30 | Belfast Room)
Have you ever wanted to get involved with performance art and improvisation? Now is your chance! Join Eleni Kolliopoulou in this movement based workshop where you'll experiment with your inner child and improvisation. Dress in comfortable clothing as we might end up rolling on the floor!
What to bring: Bring 1 to 3 objects with you that have personal meaning as part of your exploration; a book, cloth, paper, wood, a text to read aloud or an item from your home.
Participants can be of any age and gender as the Bbeyond approach is about embracing diversity and empowering human / non-human interaction.
Performance (13:00 to 15:00 | Art Gallery 4)
After the lunch break, watch a solo / group improvisation by the Bbeyond members in our 'Beuys' exhibition space which aims to embrace the time and the space.
The performance includes a Q&A reflection session where participants will be encouraged to express their own experiences, and share their feelings on the workshop and performance.
