Take a Museum Moment at the Ulster Museum! These 20 minute talks explore a range of fascinating topics and objects from our collection. With different speakers, experts and curators leading each talk, you’ll hear a variety of engaging, informative, and thought-provoking conversations, all set in various locations around the museum.

What to know:

These talks are free and open to all with no reservation needed. Talks are offered on multiple dates, so there's always an opportunity to discover something new and be inspired. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please go to reception on arrival for more information on where the talk is taking place. 

Museum Moments in June 

Tríona White Hamilton, Curator of Modern History and World Cultures, will discuss Takabuti, the mummified woman from Ancient Egypt. Who was she, how did she die, and how did she come to be in Northern Ireland? Please be advised that this talk takes place in the ‘Life and Death in Ancient Egypt’ gallery which contains human remains.  This 20 minute talk will take place in Ancient Egypt on Level 2.
