Exploring World Cultures

The Inclusive Global History gallery provides an inspiring space for pupils to explore and engage actively with real objects from around our world.

Fostering natural curiosity while activating reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, pupils will uncover the significance of these precious objects to contemporary source and diaspora communities.

Through exploring Northern Ireland’s links to other parts of the world, and reflecting on how objects arrive in a museum display case, issues of inclusion, human rights and social responsibility will be considered.  

An impactful opportunity for enrichment of pupil’s emotional understanding and empathy, nurturing tolerance and respect, and in turn building on capabilities for social and civic participation.

This brand-new, hands-on learning experience is designed specifically for pupils in P7 as they prepare for transition to post-primary.
